Lava Smasher (Eldrador by Schleich)

The lava smasher is the Lava Kingdom’s answer to the ice giant of the rival Ice Kingdom. Towering and torching, this mighty mass of magma is already ready for a shindy. 

The lava smasher stands nearly 14 cm tall due to his fiery ‘do, and is 8 cm wide at the shoulders. He is made of translucent reddish-orange PVC painted over with varying shades of yellow, orange, and black. His face is black with narrow yellow eyes.

And it’s quite a frightful face as you can clearly tell. Looks like it’s made out of hardened bits of magma, with a mouth full of pointed teeth. The head is considerably smaller than the ice giant’s, but makes up for that with the enormous mass of sculpted flames atop it, flames which extend onto the shoulders and much of the back. It looks intimidating, but at the same time, it also reminds me of this guy. 

The lava smasher’s torso is similarly made up of hardened magma bits. His stout legs end in three digit fiery feet and his huge arms have four-fingered hands that look ready to seize and squeeze. There are no slots for holding melee weapons, nor are any included with the toy. 

The lava smasher’s lower jaw opens to 30 degrees, his arms are ball-jointed at the shoulders, and his waist rotates 360 degrees. He is quite, quite durable too, and has seen his share of intense battles in the bedroom or the hallway or on the stairs. 

Overall then, the Schleich lava smasher is a great addition to anyone’s Eldrador ranks, especially if you’ve got the ice giant for him to butt heads with.
