Shimo, sometimes called the World Ender, the Blizzard Lizard, the Bringer of Ice Ages, and the Monster Whose Breath Makes the Ocean Into Stone, is a ginormous Kaiju, far larger than Godzilla himself, with ice-based powers capable of wreaking havoc on the planet. She is, however, a benevolent beast, and most of the devastation she caused over the millenia was due to her enslavement by the vile Skar King.

For my second MTB review, I’m going with the undisputed King of the Monsters himself, the beloved film star and cultural icon known as Godzilla!
This is the “Giant Godzilla Evolved” toy from Playmates, part of their tie-in line for the 2024 film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

The 1994 Atari fighting game Primal Rage featured a roster of stop-motion animated dinosaurs and giant apes that battled it out on a post-apocalyptic Earth (or “Urth”), which seems like an irresistible concept for a toyline, with Playmates jumping to the task in 1996, possibly to coincide with the sequel of the game which never materialised (toys based on characters from the sequel were also produced).
